B&M To Close Two Liverpool Stores
Two Liverpool branches of B&M are to close in the coming weeks.
The affected stores are located on London Road and Park Road.
A B&M spokesperson told local press that staff members had been given the opportunity to transfer to another store in the area or take voluntary redundancy.
Earlier this month, B&M announced the closure of a Blackpool warehouse with the loss of 128 jobs.
Since mid-November, B&M has opened nine stores - some brand new and some refits.
B&M will continue to operate its six other stores in Merseyside: Belle Vale Shopping Centre, Bootle Strand, County Road, Edge Lane, Great Homer Street and Hunts Cross Shopping Park.
