Hornbach expands network with sixth Romanian store

German DIY retailer Hornbach will open a 12.00 sqm store at Sibiu this fall, reaching a national network of six units launched so far.

The new store will offer 30.000 items of international and local brands, as well as branded by Hornbach. The retailer owns in Romania three stores in Bucharest, one in Brasov and one in Timisoara and hired 650 employees.

At Sibiu, the company representatives announced they have already started the refurbishing of the store. In Europe, Hornbach has 150 units in nine countries.
