Jewson Reaches Finals Of Motor Transport Awards 2025
Jewson is thrilled to have been a finalist at the prestigious Motor Transport Awards 2025 – Livery of the Year.
The truck design, which was chosen by Jewson’s drivers, forms a significant part of the business’s re-brand, which was launched in 2024.
A household name in the industry, Jewson is a network of more than 400 local builders’ merchant branches, powered by a national logistics network.
The business is part of STARK Building Materials UK Ltd, a group of UK merchant businesses that was acquired in 2023 by STARK Group – Europe’s leading business-to-business distributor of heavy building materials for the construction industry.
Over the past 30 months, the Coventry-based business has been implementing a significant investment programme to improve its branch and logistics network to offer the UK’s general builders and specialise tradespeople the products, availability, service and value they need to grow their businesses.
Transforming its transport infrastructure and operations is a key part of the company’s growth plans.

Ranald Forbes, STARK UK Chief Logistics Officer said of the Award: “I could not be more thrilled for our drivers – it’s really their Award. We wanted our drivers to be involved in the new truck design – it’s their office after all – and we want them to be proud as they make their deliveries to site.

The bold eye-catching look reflects the new Jewson proposition we now offer; it also highlights our vehicle’s technical and safety equipment, which was designed with our customers and colleagues in mind and to support our goal of operational excellence.
"The new vehicle livery is a visual reminder that our customers can trust in better as Jewson continues to evolve and improve as a proud partner to the trades.”
