Optimera Partners with Alrik to Strengthen Transport Operations
- Optimera, part of Saint-Gobain, is strengthening its transport operations through a long-term partnership with Swedish AI company Alrik, creating a single, shared view of deliveries across its network.
Optimera has selected Swedish AI company Alrik as the platform for its transport and delivery operations. The rollout gives Optimera one live, shared picture of deliveries across its 64 branches.
Construction supply chains still rely heavily on manual coordination. Deliveries run across hundreds of branches, carriers, ERP and TMS systems that were never built to work together, and every attempt at a unified view has demanded that the fragmentation be solved first. Alrik takes a different approach: an intelligence layer that sits on top of the fragmentation and turns scattered operational data into decisions that improve with every delivery.
As customer expectations continue to evolve, Optimera is investing in greater visibility, control and flexibility across its transport operations — strengthening the service it provides today and preparing for future requirements.
“Reliable, efficient deliveries are central to the service we offer our customers. Alrik gives us one shared view of our transport flows, which means better control, faster decisions and a clearer picture of cost and capacity across the network.”
— Thomas Johansson, Logistics Director, Optimera
"Construction is one of the world's largest industries, but much of its logistics still runs on manual coordination and fragmented data. AI now makes it possible to build an intelligence layer that simply could not exist before — one that works with the complexity of the industry, instead of against it. Optimera taking this into its core operations is an important step in that shift, and we’re very proud to work with them on this journey."
— Nici Sundén-Cullberg, Founder and CEO, Alrik
