Snapchat Offers New Advertising Options
Social media platform Snapchat has unveiled several new advertising options.
Those looking to advertise on the platform can now choose to use Shoppable Snap Ads (available from October) as well as Product Catalogues which allow retailers to import product feeds into Snapchat. The option of Advanced Pixel Targeting can be used to reach specific audiences.
eBay, Wish.com and Guess are understood to have tested some of the new advertising functions and results have reportedly been positive.
Earlier this week Amazon and Snapchat partnered for a visual search feature that allows customers to shop from photographs.
Snapchat is looking to boost e-commerce engagement to compete with Instagram and has also added 30 new performance agencies to its rosta to assist. Uk partners include Marketing VF, Miri Growth and Nest Performance.
