The Range To Open In Former Widnes B&Q Unit

The Range is to open in a former B&Q store in Wides.

The new store will open on Friday 26th February in Widnes Trade Park and will feature an outdoor garden centre.

Staff from the closing Runcorn branch are relocating to the new store, which is less than four miles away, and a number of additional jobs have been created.  

B&Q announced its intention to close the Widnes store in March 2016 and the doors shut for the last time in September of the same year.

In recent filings at Companies House, The Range reported that it had passed the £1bn turnover milestone in the year ended 2nd February 2020.
