The Screwfix Foundation Partners With Hospice UK

Hospice UK - Screwfix partnership

The Screwfix Foundation is delighted to announce a new charity partnership with Hospice UK - the national champion for hospices, representing the community of more than 200 across the UK.

Hospices provide vital care to approximately 310,000 people each year, yet many face significant funding challenges. Together, we will deliver improvement grants to help hospices enhance their facilities, making a real difference to those navigating end-of-life care.

This collaboration reflects The Screwfix Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK. We’re proud to welcome Hospice UK as a partner and look forward to the positive impact we can achieve together.

John Mewett, Screwfix CEO and Screwfix Foundation Trustee: “We’re proud to announce this new partnership with Hospice UK to support them in making a real difference to those navigating end-of-life care. Improvement grants will play a vital role in enhancing comfort for hospice users and helping hospices improve their energy efficiency to reduce costs. As a charity that helps improve, repair and maintain community facilities for those in need, this partnership will provide further support to local communities.”

Catherine Bosworth, Director of Income Generation and Grants at Hospice UK: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Screwfix Foundation to enhance the environments where vital hospice care takes place. The improvement grants will help hospices improve and maintain their facilities, easing financial pressures and enabling them to focus on what matters most: providing expert compassionate care to those approaching the end of life or living with a life-limiting condition. This partnership with the Screwfix Foundation will make such a meaningful difference to hospices across the UK.”
