Closure date confirmed for Plymouth B&Q store

It has been confirmed that B&Q's Plymouth store, located in Coypool Retail Park, will close in January of next year.

The closing date has been set for January 7th, after which the branch will be converted into a Furniture World store.

The Furniture World store is relocating; its former site has been taken on by discount retailer B&M, creating 60 jobs.

A B&Q spokesperson said: "We will endeavour to find alternative positions for as many staff as possible,"
