Kingfisher plc, the international home improvement retailer, is today announcing a number of senior management changes which will further strengthen the Group Executive team and support the delivery of the Group’s strategy.

Sebastien Krysiak, currently CEO of Castorama Poland, has been appointed to the new role of Chief Commercial Officer, with effect from 4 April. In this role, Sebastien will assume leadership of the Offer & Sourcing, Supply Chain & Logistics and Customer Insight functions across the Group, bringing his breadth of commercial, trading and banner experience to these teams. Henri Solère, Chief Offer & Sourcing Officer, will report to Sebastien.

Following his success in leading Brico Dépôt in France, Pascal Gil will become the new CEO of Castorama Poland from 4 April. Pascal will also join the Group Executive team.

Laurent Vittoz will move from leading our Group Sourcing team to replace Pascal as the new CEO of Brico Dépôt France from 15 March.

In parallel with these changes, Martin Lee, Chief Supply Chain Officer, will be leaving Kingfisher at the end of May after seven years working within the Kingfisher Group. Martin and his team have successfully navigated Kingfisher through the unprecedented challenge in global supply chains during the pandemic, leaving us in a stronger position to serve our customers.

Kingfisher’s Supply Chain & Logistics teams have been significantly strengthened under Martin’s leadership and he leaves with our very best wishes and thanks.

In addition to the changes above, Elizabeth Messud, Kingfisher’s General Counsel, will join the Group Executive.

Thierry Garnier, CEO of Kingfisher commented:

“As we enter the next phase of the Powered by Kingfisher strategy, accelerating investment for growth, we are strengthening our leadership team in a number of important functions. We are particularly delighted that these appointments are internal, reflecting the management strength across the business and our commitment to the development of our teams. I’d like to express my sincere thanks to each of the leaders for the contribution they have made and look forward to working together in the next phase of our growth.”

Following these changes, the Group Executive will constitute:
